Being a “Foreigner” goes beyond living in another country. It encompasses foreign travel as well. Whether you’re from Canada visiting Christ The Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro or you live in Paris and encounter an new neighbor from Easter Island, all it takes is tolerance of our unique backgrounds to learn from each other instead of fearing someone simply because of a difference. The challenge is to learn to embrace our differences instead of making them out to be wrong or a threat.
This design begs to start an important conversation- one about diversity, with the hope of bringing about acceptance of each other. We have so much we can learn from one another. All we need to do is stop making our ancestry or our country of origin the “right” one or more important than the person we are. Everyone is full of feelings and opinions that are unique and amazing.
