36 year old Trevor Aurocco comes from an Irish and French background. Working as a manager and server at a busy restaurant, Trevor was a little nervous when given the opportunity to model some Wearable Therapy designs. But, he was able to push aside his confidence issues to show off our inspiring clothing. He explained, “I was very nervous because I can be very critical of myself. But when I was asked to do this by a friend, I put aside my self confidence issues and did the best I could.” And it’s a great thing that he was able to do so, because the result was impressive. Take a closer look at Trevor in his Q&A:

How do you prepare for a photo shoot?

I made a special trip to see my barber before the photo shoot. I wanted to look my best.

What style of fashions do you prefer to pose in?

If I had to choose. I would prefer a men’s fitness magazine, like a lot of my favourite athletes.

Can you describe the design that you are posing in for WT?

My Inner Ghouls.

What is your favorite WT product?

My favourite design is brain clutter. Everyone can relate to this design. We all have thoughts that try to dominate our head space. And sometimes they do. However, since we can only think about one thing at a time, you can make a conscious choice to think about something positive. Maybe a goal, a project or a loved one.

PROUD- As an endurance athlete, I am really proud of some of my accomplishments. I have run a dozen marathons, one ultra marathon (50k) and a hand full of 8 hour mountain bike races. Pushing myself past my perceived limits feels amazing

ANGRY – When I think about how some animals are treated in our agricultural system

EXCITED- I love cycling. I am very excited to hit the road and climb some big hills on my road bike

SCARED- I am going to hike 100 miles on the Appalachian trail in July

LUCKY- To have the friends and family I have

CONFLICTED- Global warming. I feel like we are on the right course with renewable energy and hybrid/electric vehicles, but I feel like we can do moretrevor

EMPOWERED- I feel empowered when I achieve my goals and overcome obstacles

HOPEFUL- When I see children master computers at such an early age. It makes me think we are on the verge of a technological transformation

SAD- When I think about unadopted animals at the humane society

STRONG- When I climb a new route at the rock climbing gym

WT is all about Defining Your Normal. So, let’s find out more about what makes you You!

What is your definition of ‘normal’?

Normal is perceived characteristics projected onto others. I believe we all choose our own path and we should accept others for the path they chose.

We are all about celebrating people’s awesomeness, so what makes you awesome?

I am an ultra endurance athlete, I rock climb, race mountain bikes and triathlon. But what really makes me awesome is that I respect others, I help people who need it, and push myself every day.

What is a challenge that you face often in your life?

Self confidence has always been a struggle for me. I’m getting better as I learn to not be so critical.

What is the best compliment that you have ever received?

Being loved.

What was the best criticism you ever received?

As a manager, I focused on the numbers and details of running the business. My criticism was that people make the business great not the numbers and details. When I fully got this feedback I became a better manager and team mate.

What makes your life easier?

My iPhone. How did I live without one.

What makes your life more difficult?

Traffic. There is not enough time in the day.

What is your definition of success?

Setting goals and achieving them.

We are all changing and evolving all the time. How are you in the process of changing?

At the moment I am going through a significant life change. New condo, new city, new relationship. Life today is totally different than life a year ago. And one year form now it will be totally different again. Enjoy the moment and embrace the change. Know where you want to go and get busy getting there.
